Join Three Six Zero
Three-six-zero is a group formed to support Woodhead
Mountain Rescue Team by raising awareness of the team
and assisting
with fundraising.
This will be done by working closely with the Team to
identify and prioritise their needs. Also by keeping
Three-six-zero
members informed of activities within the team, with
the aim of increasing membership of Three-six-zero.
Three-six-zero members do not actively take part in the
search and rescue work of Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team.
The increasing demands upon the team require not only
funding, but also the ability to call upon a wider range
of skills
and facilities.
That’s where ‘Three Six Zero’ comes
in
We believe that those people who enjoy and value the
Peak District will be keen to support the provision
of high
quality Mountain Rescue Services.
Members of ‘Three Six Zero’ do not actively
take part in the search and rescue work of the mountain
rescue team, such work is best left to the experts.
